Focused Awareness Meditation

Focused Awareness Meditation is a 5-step mindfulness practice with the essential component of concentration bringing the mind and body together. This approach has its roots in the Yogic tradition and was founded by Dr. Susan Taylor of the. This two-part class, held on March 11 and March 18, will teach the 5 steps of Focused Awareness Meditation for stress reduction, health, and peace of mind.

About the Instructor: Anne Cassidy Szal, RScP

Anne Cassidy Szal is a licensed Religious Science Practitioner with Centers for Spiritual Living and a Meditation Specialist Intern.  Anne, a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association, is a registered nurse with over 30 years’ experience in the field of Maternal/Newborn Health. Now Anne’s interest in spirituality and the mind-body connection leads her to becoming a Midwife to Consciousness through teaching Meditation.
